A new SURF project meeting was held the 1st of October 2024 with all partners involved. Several topics were discussed by all participants during the meeting, including the development of didactic material on climate change for trainers, as well as the creation of webinars and workshops for residents in rural areas, in addition to educators. To this end, three local events will be held, one in each of the partner countries (Italy, Spain and Slovenia). Following the presentations, participants and experts will engage in collaborative conversations, facilitated by a moderator, to identify and examine important difficulties related to climate change. All partners will bring together local experts, adult educators, rural community members and other key actors in rural development. These workshops will provide a platform for participants to share their perspectives and experiences on local issues related to climate change, fostering collaborative dialogue and community-driven insights.
