EUROPEAN RURAL NETWORK
Another specific result of the project is to create a European Rural Network. Network of organisations and individuals that work together to support and promote the development of rural areas in Europe.
The network is made up of a variety of stakeholders, including local and regional authorities, people working in public administrations, non-governmental organisations, foundations, or relevant companies related to rural development.
The network aims to improve the quality of life for people living in rural areas by improving educational offerings and promoting sustainable development and climate change adaptation. The network also serves as a space for exchange of ideas and best practices among its members and they will have direct access to knowledge on climate change and the PAR approach.

GOOD PRACTICES GUIDE:
his Good Practices Guide identifies challenges and opportunities highlighted by the project, including specific issues related to climate change or sustainable rural development in all countries involved. It gathers real-life examples of initiatives that have been either successful or unsuccessful in addressing rural community challenges and opportunities, and it outlines best practices that can be replicated in similar initiatives, showing how the proposed training supports and enhances them. Here the guide
INTERACTIVE MAP:
his map is designed to create an innovative itinerary for adults in order to enhance the opportunities of rural areas in the context of the green transition and climate change adaptation. It aims to strengthen rural communities by improving the understanding of climate change impacts and promoting social participation in decision-making processes. It also serves as a tool to foster synergies between communities from different countries.
The online browser was developed at the Department of Geography, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. Here is the map :
SUSTAINABILITY PLAN:
This network includes educators, partners, trainers, rural communities, institutions, businesses, NGOs, and local authorities. This diversity enriches dialogue and grounds activities in rural contexts. About 50 public and private entities have shown interest, with some signing the membership form to join the network; if you want to join too, fill out the form above and send it to: nspano@lowcarboneconomy.org
The methodology used involves maintaining the ERN website, promoting online membership, creating a LinkedIn group, updating the SURF map, and increasing ERN visibility on each partner’s institutional website.
The benefits for everyone will be access to SURF resources, visibility, collaboration on projects, peer exchange, and professional growth through events, training, and sharing of best practices within the network.
