Meeting Surf Project

First online meeting within the framework of the project “Sustainable Rural Future – SURF” co-funded by ERASMUS + Programme, was successfully held on 9th of January 2024. The Project coordination meeting was a preliminary step for the next Kick off meeting which will take place in March 2024 in Spain.

The meeting’s goal, in addition to create the right conditions for socialisation among the project staff members who will be involved in the activities’ implementation, was to take stock of the situation with regard to the first actions to be taken.

The Project coordinator, Low Carbon Economy Foundation (Spain), presented each work package’s activities, objectives, and expected results in detail.

In addition, each individual project partner was given an initial assignment of roles and tasks, in order to allow everyone to start working as soon as possible. After that, the project partners provided further suggestions and considerations concerning the first phase of the project’s life.

The primary goal of the project “SURF” is to develop an innovative adult training itinerary to increase opportunities for rural areas keeping into consideration the green transition and the climate change adaptation.
